ENCY × KUKA Robot Cutting Seminar — hands-on seminar, Tue 17 – Thu 19 November 2026, at Infinity Solutions Co., Ltd. in Ueda (Nagano), Japan.

Over three days, our Japanese partners Infinity Solutions and CAMSUPS invite manufacturers, engineers, and CAD/CAM users to experience the complete robotic machining workflow — from CAM programming to real cutting on an industrial robot — using ENCY for CAD/CAM and offline simulation, and a KUKA robot for the actual machining.

Attendance is free of charge. Advance registration required — capacity is limited to 2 participants per company per session, first-come, first-served.

What you will experience

In a two-hour, four-step programme, participants go through the full ENCY-to-KUKA workflow and take home the piece they machined themselves — an original wooden coaster.

  1. CAD/CAM programming (ENCY). Create design data and generate CAM toolpaths in ENCY.
  2. Robot simulation (ENCY). Verify the machining motion and run collision checks offline before touching the real robot.
  3. Robot machining. Send the verified programme to the KUKA robot and watch it perform the actual cutting — engraving patterns and text on a wooden coaster.
  4. Take-home piece. Every participant takes home the coaster they machined.

Loaner laptops running ENCY are provided on-site — no need to bring your own machine.

Sessions per day:

  • Morning · 10:00 – 12:00 (JST)
  • Afternoon · 14:00 – 16:00 (JST)
