Interlocking cogwheel printed with no supports on AVENCO LFAM system

A mechanism straight off the print bed.
AVENCO Robotics & Automation demonstrated their large-format additive manufacturing system by printing an interlocking cogwheel that rotates freely the moment printing stops. No supports, no post-print assembly.

Precision at any scale.
The same LFAM cell that prints wall segments handled a mechanism with tight tolerances between mating teeth. Clean layer adhesion, controlled bead width, and repeatable motion delivered the moving fit without touch-up.

ENCY Robot on a KUKA cell.
AVENCO runs a KUKA industrial robot programmed offline with ENCY Robot. Extrusion toolpaths and full-cell simulation are prepared before the first layer — the same workflow used on concrete and thermoplastic builds.

One process, many part sizes.
Whether the target is a working cogwheel or a structural panel, the additive process stays the same. Scale does not have to compromise dimensional accuracy.
