Client feedback: foam programming for Cena Techart

Real feedback from the shop floor
Simaxis Engenharia shared a WhatsApp exchange with client Pedro (Cena Techart) after sending over a CAM strategy for a decorative EPS foam panel. Pedro's reply — "Fenomenal!" and "Cara, perfeitamente o que eu queria" — is exactly the kind of indicator that matters more than any dashboard: the person on the receiving end confirming the work solved their problem.
The job: a decorative star panel in EPS
The reel walks through the CAM programming and machining of a compass-rose relief on a large EPS foam panel. A 3-axis portal CNC with a long tapered ballnose runs concentric roughing followed by a fine 3D finishing pass, leaving crisp diagonal facets and clean radial grooves in the four triangular sectors.
ENCY CAD/CAM behind the toolpaths
Simaxis programs the job in ENCY CAD/CAM software, using stock-aware roughing and a spiral 3-axis finishing strategy tuned for foam — long unsupported cutters, high feeds, and light stepdowns that keep the panel intact and the surface consistent. The G-code goes straight from the sim to the machine, and the customer takes it from there.
Thanks to Cena Techart
Thanks to Cena Techart for the trust and to Simaxis Engenharia for the ongoing shop-floor collaboration with Brazilian machining teams — this is exactly the kind of customer loop that keeps a CAM workflow honest.
