Digital twin and custom postprocessor for a rotary labeler part in Brazil

The client and the part. A Brazilian producer of rotary labeling machines needed a compound-curved component ready for production — one that had to come off the mill finished, no operator edits to the G-code.

Digital twin of the CNC. Simaxis rebuilt the client's Taikan 3-axis mill inside ENCY CAD/CAM software as a digital twin, with spindle, rotary fixture, angle head and all supporting hardware in place, so the toolpath was simulated end-to-end before the first chip.

Postprocessor that lands running. A dedicated postprocessor was tuned for the Mitsubishi M80 control — output goes from CAM straight into the controller, no manual line edits, no shop-floor hand-tuning.

Coaching on strategies. Training and consulting covered the machining strategies in ENCY CAD/CAM — 3-axis roughing, ball-nose finishing, stock-aware passes — so the client's programmers can reuse the setup on the next part.
