5-axis simultaneous milling of a tube-bend cavity, programmed in ENCY CAM

A real 5-axis cut. MecDATA filmed the milling of a cavity for a tube bend on a 5-axis simultaneous CNC machine. The trunnion tilts and rotates the aluminium block while the tool follows the curved cavity.

Programmed and simulated in ENCY. Strategies, toolpaths and the machining simulation for this part were prepared in ENCY CAD/CAM software before the job reached the machine.
