Custom Grippers for Semi-Automatic Valve Assembly

Production of Tailored Gripping Tools Thanks to Lavorazioni Meccaniche CS for sharing a completed batch of 20 custom gripping “manine” designed for use on a semi-automatic valve assembly system. Each solution was engineered according to the specific requirements of the target machinery and the unique workpiece geometries involved. From CAD Design to Precision CNC Machining The process began with a client-supplied billet, modeled in ENCY CAD/CAM software to develop a fit-for-purpose component. Machining was carried out using 3-axis CNC milling, mill-turn, and lathe methods, as seen in the photos and video. Key machining scenes include milling of aluminum brackets, slotting operations, and turning of cylindrical blanks—all illustrating advanced part handling in the job shop and machine tool industry. Ensured Quality and Repeatability This approach ensures every gripping tool meets requirements for dimensional accuracy, repeatability, and finish, supporting efficient mechanical assembly workflows.
