Hermle 5-axis job shop machining programmed in ENCY

5-axis workflow on a Hermle machining centre
Marcelo Brusamarello Gonzatto shared a shop-floor reel from Zollet SRL (Piemonte, Italy) programming their Hermle 5-axis machining centre in ENCY CAD/CAM software. The clip covers two jobs — a hub-shaped steel component on the trunnion table and a prismatic block set for plunge drilling and finish contouring.

Multiaxis toolpaths and NC-code verification
ENCY handles the full sequence in a single setup: roughing, deep-hole drilling and finish passes with slim long-reach cutters. Machine-aware toolpath calculation, stock tracking and simulation keep collisions in check across the tilting A-axis and rotating C-axis, so the operator moves from roughing to finishing without re-fixturing.
