This project highlights a 16ft x 8ft sculpture crafted for the arts and die & mold industries, where intricate forms and large dimensions demand advanced solutions. Visuals from the workspace show a KUKA six-axis robot both CNC-milling and spraying polyurethane foam to build and refine complex shapes for sculptural and prototyping applications.

Automated Multi-Step Manufacturing
Based on the images, the process involves both additive foam layering and precision milling, executed in a dedicated cell. Continuous chip evacuation and layer deposition enable efficient creation of tall, finned prototypes with detailed contours.

Integrated Digital Workflow
ENCY CAD/CAM software and MachineMaker power the programming and control of robotic arms throughout the milling and additive phases, ensuring accurate execution from digital design to physical result. The ENCY Robot module handles the multi-axis robot kinematics required for such complex geometries.
