UK robot-cell setup and ENCY postprocessor service — Byron Stobbart

ENCY setup in the field. Byron Stobbart, a UK robotics support specialist, spent a recent week on-site with customers backing up robot programs and tuning cell routines. Part of that visit was helping a customer bring ENCY CAD/CAM software online — installing it, configuring a machine-specific postprocessor, and running the operator through the essentials.

KUKA cell with a HITECO spindle. The setup in the post shows a KUKA six-axis arm with a HITECO milling spindle inside a safety-panelled cell — a typical stack for foam patterns and tooling boards. The postprocessor maps ENCY toolpaths onto the specific KUKA controller so operators run what they saw in simulation.

Cross-brand support. Byron works across KUKA and Kawasaki robots and pairs ENCY with existing Powermill workflows where customers still need it — bringing a robot online without rebuilding the whole CAM stack.
