Custom Flange and Wheel Rim Machining for Automotive and Film Projects

Thanks to Lavorazioni Meccaniche CS for sharing an inside look at the fabrication process for custom wheel components. The project focused on creating specialized bearing housings and flanges, developed in partnership with the client for both automotive and film production applications.

Advanced CNC Milling
The images and video screenshots show the use of vertical CNC milling centers to machine cylindrical aluminum billets, produce wheel hubs, and create complex flange geometries. Multi-step milling operations ensure high-quality finishes and precise fits demanded in both dynamic automotive assemblies and on-set equipment for film production.

Software Support
Throughout the manufacturing process, ENCY CAD/CAM software was utilized to program and optimize toolpaths for 2.5x and 3x milling tasks. This enabled reliable and repeatable results in demanding machining workflows across the featured sectors.
