This post showcases hands-on experimentation with new drilling parameters during the machining of aluminum parts, as illustrated by a series of CNC milling operations. The EXECUTIVE Model 8 machine is seen performing various cutting and finishing techniques—from concentric pocket milling to precise bore drilling—on aluminum blocks and plates.

Process Highlights
As seen in the video sequences, the process includes both roughing and finishing of circular features, with spiral tool paths, active use of flood and green coolant, and efficient chip evacuation. The machine handles both contouring and detail work, demonstrating flexibility in 2.5x and 3x mill application for job shop environments.

Technology in Action
All toolpath programming and machine control were managed using ENCY CAD/CAM software in combination with ENCY Robot and MachineMaker. This integrated setup streamlines complex machining and drilling operations, supporting optimal strategies for intricate aluminum work.

Result Quality
The resulting aluminum components display consistent surface finishes and precise circular features, providing a clear view of process capability and machining efficiency for modern job shops.
