Project Overview
Thanks to StoneyCNC for sharing a multi-part CNC machining project focused on producing wall hanging features from aluminum panels. The application demonstrates both 2.5-axis and 3-axis milling workflows relevant for woodworking or arts sectors.
Process Details
As seen in the video snapshots, a gantry-style CNC machine with a precision ball-screw drive is used to cut parallel grooves and rectangular pockets into solid aluminum sheets. Each machined component forms part of a decorative installation, with clean pocketing and smooth finish visible across the aluminum blanks.
Technology Used
The process is powered by ENCY CAD/CAM software, ensuring efficient toolpath generation for various contouring and pocketing tasks. ENCY enables seamless adaptation between artistic concept and manufacturing execution, supporting high-quality results on complex projects like these decorative wall mounts.
