Multi-Stage Milling Operations
Thanks to jhc-kovo s.r.o. for sharing a detailed look at advanced aluminum part production. The process involves machining a solid aluminum block on vertical CNC centers with rotary tables, as seen in the video. The workpiece is clamped using a Lang Quick-Point rail vise, and both 3-axis and 5-axis passes are used to create contoured pockets and stepped features with visible toolpath patterns.
Integrated CAM for Complex Profiles
During the process, ENCY CAD/CAM software is used to manage multi-axis strategies, covering both roughing and finishing operations. The images highlight the practical advantages of efficient toolpath generation, accurate surface finishes, and coordinated transitions between setups. Coolant management and proper workholding ensure consistent quality.
Flexible Machining in Job Shop Environments
This project demonstrates flexible, high-precision aluminum milling for job shop applications, where diverse and complex geometries are required without compromising the quality or efficiency of the results.
