The ENCY 1.1.2 update introduces several enhancements aimed at streamlining programming workflows and improving reliability in critical operations.

Spindle Synchronization for Part-off with Takeover

A new parameter, “Grip RPM,” has been added to the Part-off with Takeover operation. It synchronizes the main spindle speed with the sub spindle speed during engage and part picking. This value is passed to CLData for proper postprocessor functionality.

Starting Point in Scallop operation

The “Starting Point” parameter is now available in the Scallop operation for more flexible toolpath control.

New Parameter in Reports

Expert mode in the machining report generation window now includes the operation name for hole machining lists.

Usability Improvements

  • The algorithm for matching coaxial tools in main and counter spindles on Swiss-type machines has been improved.
  • Hints for the “Adaptive Feedrate” parameter have been updated.
  • If the Zmin parameter is selected by default or by feature in the properties window, shaped tool geometry cannot be enabled to prevent errors and gouging. It can only be enabled when Zmin is selected by model.

Fixes

This update includes numerous bug fixes that improve system stability and performance. Issues fixed include interface inconsistencies, simulation errors, crashes when opening projects or working in multi-project mode, and problems in complex operations such as impeller machining. Improvements were also made to CLData editing, toolpath simulation, report generation, and handling of corrupted geometry files.

Note: The 1.1.2 update is available to all users with an active annual support contract (SMC).
