Joakim Målare, founder of the solo design studio nioform in Årnäs, Sweden, shared his journey from early experiments in 3D modeling to fully robotic fabrication. With experience in model making and stone masonry, Joakim now uses industrial robots to shape large-scale artistic objects from materials such as bronze, concrete, and fiberglass. At the heart of his workflow is ENCY Robot, which enables him to simulate complex robotic movements, generate toolpaths, and manage multi-axis machining with confidence and precision. His workshop is equipped with ABB robots, custom fixtures, and hotwire cutters — all integrated into a flexible and efficient digital production pipeline driven by ENCY.
“I would not be where I am today without ENCY”, said Joakim during his presentation.
