Innovative Use of Industrial Robotics
Shared by Sébastien Vaudreuil, the development of a Large Format Additive Manufacturing system is underway at CCNB-INNOV – Advanced Materials. The system employs a KUKA KR120 R3900 robot integrated with a custom polymer extrusion head to fabricate large-scale architectural components.

Demonstrated Manufacturing Capabilities
As seen in the accompanying video screenshots, the robotic arm executes additive manufacturing by depositing layers of white polymer to produce complex, curved panels and vessel-shaped structures. Several completed parts are displayed alongside the active work cell, highlighting the efficiency and repeatability of the process.

Integrated ENCY Solutions
The setup utilizes ENCY Robot to manage both additive processes and robot milling. This enables hybrid manufacturing workflows that are well suited for the architectural and construction sector, supporting quality control and flexible part geometries.
